Diphoterine® takes to the air!
With three helicopters and two rapid response vehicles, the Great North Air Ambulance Service provides emergency medical cover across the North East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire. The service is entirely funded by charity.
GNAAS recently added Diphoterine® to the extensive kit they already carry, with the support of Diphex Limited.
Dr Dan Bearn explains that in an area renowned for its extensive chemical industry, and as a response to the increased threat from chemical assaults, Diphoterine® is a welcome addition to their kit. The availability of Diphoterine® as an emergency first aid response to a casualty that has come into contact with corrosive chemicals, has the potential to prevent life changing injuries.
