It was a pleasure to provide Diphoterine® Solution protocol training for Jersey Emergency Services recently.
Jersey have lead the way in response to corrosive injury management with the solution, which is now available with all three services.
The benefit of this is that Diphoterine® Solution can realistically be available for use on a casualty in under 10 minutes (the Emergency Service response time) which will have a significant impact on eventual outcomes for the casualty.
This is a great example of a combined emergency service response putting the casualty at the centre of care.
