Diphoterine® is the world's leading active chemical decontaminant for skin and eye chemical burns. Unlike water or saline, which simply rinse and dilute, Diphoterine® actively renders all seven major classes of chemical aggressor harmless — acids, bases, oxidisers, reducers, chelating agents, solvents, and alkylating agents — through its unique combination of mechanical washing, hypertonic osmotic draw, and amphoteric chelating action.
The Diphoterine® product range is designed around one principle: putting active chemical first aid at the point of need, in the right format for every working environment. Every product in the range is certified as a Class IIa medical device — sterile, non-toxic, non-allergenic, and phosphate-free. All formats comply with EN15154 Parts 3 and 4, the European standards for emergency eye and skin decontamination. None require plumbing, fixed water supply, or ongoing maintenance.
