Description:

A complete kit for the chemical decontamination / first aid following a small chemical splash and the safe absorption and neutralisation of small spills of Hydrofluoric Acid and its derivatives. Ideal for internal areas of sites 

Kit consists of a wall mounted cabinet with a door for dust protection and contains:

2 x LPMF - Mural eye wash bottle (500ml)

1 x LOA - Afterwash II (200ml)

Each mural eye wash bottle is sufficient to decontaminate one eye. 

The Afterwash can be used to relieve any dry eye symptoms after the decontamination has been completed

The kit also contains:

2 x Calcium Gluconate Gel (40g tube)

The Calcium Gluconate gel is to be used as directed by a medical professional. To be applied directly to the affected areas.

Calcium Gluconate gel should not be applied to the eyes

1 x TXP - Trivorex® Shaker (700g) The Trivorex shaker is for the absorption and neutralisation of a chemical spill.

Instructions for Use:

Use within the first minute of the splash for optimal efficacy.

Single use product. Use the full contents.

The Calcium Gluconate gel is to be used as directed by a medical professional. To be applied directly to the affected area.

Calcium Gluconate gel should not be applied to the eyes

For spills, a bund should be created around the spill with the Trivorex®. Then sprinkle sufficient Trivorex® over the surface of the spill to allow the liquid to be absorbed. The Trivorex® absorbent will turn pink to indicate an acid spill and blue to indicate an alkali spill. Once the absorbent returns to its original colour the spill has been neutralised.  Always wear appropriate PPE when dealing with chemical spills.
