Description:

Fully autonomous portable shower. The ideal product for all areas on site. Particularly useful for personnel working on mezzanine floors, in isolated areas, or working in areas with restricted access.

This equipment makes it possible to decontaminate a person, from head to toe, in the event of a chemical splash to the whole of the body. The micronised spray ensures a non-aggressive decontamination of the skin. The 5L shower has a diffusion time of around 5 minutes.

The shower can be protected by being housed in the protective box (see DAPBOX or CI.VF for internal area) / CIGF.VF (for external area).

Instructions for Use:

Use within the first minute following the splash for optimal efficacy.

Single use product.

Use the total contents.

Pull the green tab to remove the locking pin. Fully depress the lever to charge the system.

Spray the casualty - starting from the head down if a full body splash has occurred. Whilst spraying ensure the casualty removes all clothing, taking care to remove this downwards to prevent further contamination. If necessary cut or tear shoulder seams. Do not allow the casualty to put these clothes back on.  

If decontaminating yourself ensure that you remember to decontaminate the arm/hand that is operating the shower.

If the eyes have been affected they should be fully decontaminated using an LPMF eye wash for each eye. Remove contact lenses as soon as possible.

Shelf Life:

DAPF - Autonomous Portable Shower (5L) - 2 years from date of manufacture.

At the end of shelf-life we will supply you with a replacement exchange unit (EDAPF). Our Client Care Team will call you to discuss renewals prior to expiry. The original unit should be emptied and returned to us as part of the exchange system.
