Diphoterine® Skin & Eye Products - Personal Issue

Diphoterine® Personal Issue Products

The fastest decontamination is the one that is already with the worker when the incident happens. Personal issue Diphoterine® products are designed to be worn or carried by individuals who work directly with corrosive and irritant chemicals — putting active chemical first aid at zero distance from the point of risk.

For workers who operate away from fixed decontamination stations — maintenance engineers in plant rooms, technicians handling chemical transfers, laboratory workers moving between benches, or anyone whose working environment means a wall-mounted station may be 30 or 60 seconds away — personal issue products close the gap between where the incident happens and where the treatment is.

Every second between chemical contact and decontamination is a second in which the chemical continues to react with tissue. A wall-mounted station that takes 45 seconds to reach is 45 seconds of ongoing injury. A MiniDAP on a belt holster or a grab bag over the shoulder means decontamination can begin in under 10 seconds — in the critical window before diffusion into deeper tissue becomes significant.

Personal issue products use the same active Diphoterine® chemistry as all fixed station formats. The solution works through mechanical washing, hypertonic osmotic draw, and amphoteric chelating action — rendering all seven classes of chemical aggressor harmless regardless of which chemical caused the splash. The worker does not need to identify the substance before activating treatment.

All personal issue formats are lightweight, maintenance-free, and require no activation setup. They are suitable for lone workers, mobile teams, and any environment where chemical exposure risk is not confined to a fixed location.

Products in the personal issue range:
